May 2017

Hello Families,
May is such a wonderful month; spring is finally here and the daylight increases a little bit each day. May is also a very busy time for many families. Children are involved in spring sports, there are many commitments and activities throughout the month. Next week we will have our Second Annual WALKATHON on Thursday, May 11th! It is the spring fundraiser for PIE. If you can't join us for the walk, you can contribute to support the over 140 walkers! As the weeks progress, please remember to check the scrolling calendar on our website for important dates. Enjoy the very full month of May; especially seeing the tremendous growth and progress that your child has made throughout this year! We hope you can join us for our many fun events!

For the children,

Sally

Outdoor Classroom Fundraiser

The Outdoor Classroom needs a roof! Please join us to 'Raise the Roof of the BPMS Outdoor Classroom on Saturday, May 20th. We look forward to celebrating as a community the amazing work of volunteers, staff, parents and community members in providing BPMS with such an amazing structure. Although we have done a considerable amount of fundraising so far, we are still in need of the final touches in completing the building, by putting on a roof.

Please be on the lookout for information next week about our evening fundraiser, in the outdoor classroom, with the goal of meeting our fundraising goal to install a roof. Interested in learning more about the Outdoor Education at BPMS? Please check out the Outdoor Classroom website at http://brewsterpierce.cesuvt.org/classrooms/outdoor-classroom. On this site, you can also make a donation directly to the Outdoor Classroom costs.
